Executive Board Members
Arthur is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor. After qualification Arthur joined Deloitte Haskin & Sells, which became Coopers & Lybrand. Arthur worked in the private client and entrepreneurs division where he provided tax advice to many high profile clients. He also worked in the corporate finance division where he advised on MBOs, listings and other corporate transactions.
In 1996 Arthur joined Ernst & Young, Isle of Man, where he was head of the tax department and a director of the trust company. In 2003 Arthur was invited to head up a newly formed Isle of Man Family Office. After successfully dealing with the transfer of the founding family’s affairs from their previous advisors, he built the Company into a leading independent trust company.
In 2011 Arthur helped in the establishment of Knox House Trust Limited and started providing technical tax support to other companies in the Knox group of companies. Arthur regularly features in the Citywealth magazine list of prominent trust figures and continues to act for a number of high profile clients in a personal capacity.
Anthony has spent most of his working life in the offshore fiduciary environment, much of which has been in senior management roles in both Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Anthony was with Rothschild Trust Guernsey Limited for five years, where he headed up a team with responsibility for a multi-jurisdictional portfolio of structures on behalf of a number of high net worth individuals, families and corporate entities.
Anthony returned to the Isle of Man in 2008, and took up the position of Director with Knox House Trust Limited from its creation in April 2011. Anthony has played a key role in the growth and development of Knox House Trust Limited since inception with a particular focus on the private client and family office divisions. Anthony is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds a diploma in International Trust Management
After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance, Tim Eve qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996. Utilising his vocational training, Tim embarked on a career in Private Equity. His early career focused on advising the owner managed business sector and he successfully led a number of high profile acquisitions and disposals.
In 2004, Tim joined the Knox group of companies’ private equity company as a Partner. He has, over the course of the following decade, been heavily involved in sourcing, completing and managing transactions. In 2014, Tim was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Knox group of companies. Holding Board directorships on many of the Knox group of companies, he assists with their good running, devising and implementing strategy and where appropriate leading on key acquisitions.
James joined the Knox House Trust Team in July 2015. With over 18 years experience in the offshore corporate services industry working for 2 large international corporate service providers, James is now responsible for the on-going development and operations of Knox House Trust Limited’s Marine and Aviation division. James is also responsible for advising international entrepreneurs, expatriates, high net worth individuals and professional intermediaries on all aspects of corporate structuring, specialising in aircraft and yacht ownership, management, registration services, VAT planning and EU importation/exportation services. James’s role also extends to cover business development and attending various yacht and aircraft exhibitions.
Senior Management Team
Born in Northern Ireland, Alana moved to Liverpool to study Marine Biology at the University of Liverpool. In her final year of her degree she relocated to the Isle of Man where the university had its Marine Laboratories and decided to remain after she graduated. Alana joined Pannell Kerr Foster (IoM) LLC as an audit assistant in June 2006 and started to study for her ACA qualifications. She successfully completed her ACA in September 2009 and moved to West Corporation in 2010 as a Senior Accountant. Here she undertook accounts preparation for a number of Trust and Corporate Service Providers.
She joined a large contractor services company in 2011 where she held a variety of roles until 2016 including Head of Finance, Financial Controller and Finance Director. Through an internal transfer in late 2016 she started working alongside a Family Office with particular responsibility for offering accounting services to property companies and new start up enterprises. She joined Knox House Trust Limited in 2017 as Financial Controller with responsibility for budgeting, management accounts, regulatory financial reporting and overall management of the accounts team.
Voirrey has nearly 20 years’ experience in the Fiduciary Services industry; six which were spent in the Yacht Management arena.
Over the years, her career has progressed through various client facing roles with several leading service providers on Island. She has vast experience in both residential and commercial property acquisitions, development and sales, as well as considerable experience managing various other high value assets.
Voirrey manages a large active portfolio within the business, as well as overseeing the Private Client Team and the operations of the business as a whole.
Patrick is a Fellow and Certified Professional Member of the International Compliance Association (ICA) and has in excess of 23 years’ experience in the Isle of Man financial services sector.
Having completed a Business & Finance Diploma at the Isle of Man College in 1992 Patrick went on to undertake a number of Administrative, Management and Compliance positions (primarily within Fund Administration and Fund Management industry) and, after 14 years, joined KPMG as a Regulatory & Compliance Advisor where he spent over 4 years advising a portfolio of regulated clients working within Banking, Investment/Fund Management and Fiduciary Services.
Since returning to industry in 2011 Patrick has held a number of Senior Compliance roles and joins KHT, as Head of Risk & Compliance, from a well-known and established local Private bank.
Craig joined Knox House Trust as a Senior Client Accountant in December 2015. With over ten years’ experience working within the offshore fiduciary environment and before relocation to the Isle of Man, Craig spent several years working in Jersey for a well-established and respected Corporate Service Provider. Prior to joining Knox Craig worked with a local trust and corporate service provider where he gained over seven years’ experience managing the day to day bookkeeping and accounts preparation for a variety of offshore companies, trusts and complex structures across a variety of different jurisdictions.
Rebecca joined Knox House Trust in October 2012 from a local trust and corporate service provider where she had gained over five years experience managing the day to day administration of a number of private client structures across a variety of different jurisdictions. Within Knox House Trust Rebecca provides support to the board of Directors in relation to the management and administration of a private family office arrangement in respect of an ultra high net worth individual. Rebecca has specific responsibilities with regard to the day to day operation and utilisation of a number of differing asset classes including UK and Isle of Man commercial properties, investment portfolios, super-yachts and aircraft and investment grade artwork and jewellery.
Becca moved to the Island from the Wirral after completing her A-Levels and shortly thereafter joined the banking industry to work for a large high street bank. Becca joined Knox House Trust in March 2013 as a Trust & Company Administrator.
Becca has over 10 years’ banking experience, specifically within a payments and operational environment, and her most recent role saw her supervising a payments team. Becca was appointed to the role of Assistant Manager in 2017 with specific responsibility for the administration of a portfolio of clients within Knox House Trust. Becca holds a Certificate in Financial Services and their Regulation, and is currently studying towards the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management.
Karen joined Knox House Trust in September 2013 following 13 years working for an offshore bank, previous to which she worked within a private bank, also on the Isle of Man. Karen works within the compliance department in Knox House Trust and has gained extensive risk and compliance experience throughout her career.
In her most recent role she was involved in operational risk management and business continuity, in addition to managing staff within the banking unit. Karen is a member of the Institute of Financial Services and holds a Certificate in Financial Service in Practice and a Professional Diploma in Financial Services Management. She is currently studying towards the ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration.
Tarryn joined the Knox House Trust Team in July 2015 having spent 7 years in the offshore corporate services industry specialising in administering a large portfolio of marine and aviation corporate structures. Tarryn is now responsible for managing the aircraft and super yacht portfolios within Knox House Trust Limited’s Marine and Aviation division, dealing with all aircraft and super yacht related matters to include registration, administration services, insurance, yacht management and crew payroll. Tarryn’s role extends to cover elements of event planning, advertising, as well as attending various related seminars and yacht and aircraft exhibitions.
Born in Galway, Ireland but educated in the Isle of Man, Jessie joined Knox House Trust in June 2013 as a Trainee Compliance Administrator. Jessie completed a business diploma with a D*D* portfolio (double starred distinction).
Jessie’s diploma covered a number of relevant areas including accounting, compliance and marketing, which will are now being fully deployed in a practical environment whilst continuing her professional education.
